The ASISC regionals took place on 6.09.08 at St. Xaviers, Panihati. A junior team comprising of Chayan Mondol and Aditya Vikram Samal, and a senior team comprising of Anwesh Mishra and Arkadyuti Palit enthusiastically participated in the quiz. The juniors qualified for the regional finals.

The students of National Gems were proud pariticpants at the TCS IT Quiz held on the 4th of September, 2008 at Kalamandir. The school was represented by two teams - Anwesh Mishra, Debkalpa Goswami and Arijit Halder, Subhodeep Sarkar.
 

Penguin and Starmark jointly organized the prestigious Annual Penguin Starmark Quiz at Gyan Manch in which our school was represented by Sharan Roy Chowdhury, Debkalpa Goswami and Prithwish Nath. The team qualified for the finals.

The quiz team from National Gems participated in a quiz competition held at the Sunrise School campus.

The quiz team from National Gems represented by Subhodeep Sarkar and Saiket Talukder participated in the much awaited Aqua Regia quiz with a lot of zest and enthusiasm.
