IDENTITY CARD and REPORT CARD :


  A STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE SCHOOL WITH THE PERSON WHO PRODUCES THE IDENTITY CARD.

Every student must possess an I.C. whether escorted or unescorted.

●  Parents who wish their wards to leave school unescorted should obtain a written permission from the School Authority.

A duplicate Identity Card will be issued on payment of Rs.15/- along with a coloured passport size photograph of the ward, if the Identity Card issued is lost or soiled.


A duplicate Report Card will be issued on the payment of Rs. 50/-.


DISCIPLINE and SUSPENSION :

 

 1.    Parents/Guardian are advised to order school uniform for their sons/daughters/wards from the school   approved tailor to maintain uniformity in term of texture and shade of material of uniform.


 2. A student may be sent back for the following reasons:                    

a.  If the uniform does not conform to the dress code as specified by the school.

b.  If he/she does not attend school in clean and ironed uniform.    
 

 3.    Regulation school tie and badge would be available at the School counter of the respective School office on producing the Current Fee book.

  

1. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school premises and all public places.


2. The following may result in the removal of a student from the school –

(a)    Irregular attendance.

(b)    Unjustified or unexplained absence.

(c)    Habitual late coming.

(d)    Disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind.

(e)    Using or rendering unfair means in any examination or test.


3.  Habitual idleness, Neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the staff or bad moral influence justify dismissal.

4.  Absence at School Function.

 

ATTENDANCE and PUNCTUALITY :

 

1.  Regular attendance is of utmost importance especially on the FIRST and LAST day of EACH TERM. Any departure from this rule will be treated as an infringement of school discipline.
 
2.  A student must attend school in time. Those who come late will not be allowed to enter the class without obtaining permission of the Principal / Teacher-in-Charge.

3.   (a)  Students arriving after the commencement of the Opening  Prayer will not be allowed to attend  school for that day.
      (b)  Late arrival or early leave would defer the student from getting attendance for the day.
      (c)  Such late arrival will be allowed only 3 days in each term, after which the student will be sent  back.
 

ABSENCE and SICKNESS :
 

1.     Parents / Guardian of an absent student should make an entry in the prescribed column  printed in   the School Diary explaining the cause of absence.
2.     A formal letter, accompanied by a Medical Certificate is necessary in case of sickness for more than two days.
3.     STUDENTS AFFLICTED BY INFECTIOUS DISEASES OR EXPOSED TO SUCH DISEASES IN THEIR HOMES MUST COMPLETE THE QUARANTINE PERIOD BEFORE REJOINING SCHOOL. THIS SHOULD BE INDICATED ON THE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.
4.     Head of the Institution’s prior permission for leave of absence from school is essential if absence is anticipated.
5.     Students who are absent for three months will have their names struck off the school rolls.
 

GENERAL :


1. Parents / Guardians are not allowed to see their wards or meet teachers during school hours.
2.  Parents are requested to collect their wards in time, so as to avoid inconvenience to the school.
3.  Parents are expected not to crowd around the school premises or park their vehicles in front of the school gates.
4.  (a)An ailing child should not be sent to school.
     (b)No early leave will be granted to a student during school hours. A student may be absent for a day if absolutely necessary.
5.  Any change of address should be intimated in writing to the school.
6.  The school is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings. It is requested that students do not bring or wear valuables to school.
7.  Correspondence to the Heads of the Institution should be addressed to him by designation and not by name.
8.  Please do not phone the school on days when there is heavy rain, suspension of public transport or any other emergency. The school will function for those students who are present.
9.  Should a student be injured during class time, the school will make every effort to contact the parent first. However, in case this is not possible, the school authorities will take the necessary remedial measures.
10. Parents and guardians of all students in the school individually undertake, by placing their children in this school, that they shall conform and submit to the discipline of the school.
11. Children may be kept in for detention class or punished in other suitable ways. It is not the intention of the school to penalise the parents, but to bring to their notice the unsatisfactory academic performance or conduct of their child, wherever and whenever this may be necessary, with a view to correct and improve the child.
During the absence of a teacher from class, students must obey the prefect/monitor/captain appointed to maintain good order.
13. Students are reminded to address their teachers and all members of the staff, teaching and non-teaching with due respect and politeness.
14. Fighting or any form of physical violence, bullying or use of bad language is strictly prohibited and will result in stern disciplinary action.
15. No student is allowed to remain in the classroom during P.T./ Library classes.
16. No books, newspaper or periodicals may be brought into the school premises without the Principal’s sanction. Students found with undesirable books or pictures in their possession or lending them to others are liable to be expelled from school.
17. No student is allowed to bring mobile phones/cell phones, or any other kind of electronic communicational devices or instruments to school. If such is found in the possession of any students it will be confiscated. Infringement of this rule may also lead to expulsion.


PROTECTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY :


1.      Loss of library books / damage of laboratory apparatus will result in a fine equivalent to loss or damage.
2.      Each class will be responsible for looking after all class property. Any breakage, defacements etc. will be charged to the child / class as the case may be.
 

 WITHDRAWALS  


1.      One calendar month’s notice, in writing, from the 1st day of the month or one month’s fees must be paid in lieu thereof, is required for the withdrawal of a student from the school.
2.      If the notice given is shorter than one month, the fees due on the first of the next month will be charged as well.
3.        (a) The Principal can, in the interest of school, have a student removed if in the former’s opinion the student has failed to conform to the discipline of the school.
           (b) If a student’s presence is detrimental to the interest of other students.
           (c) If a student fails to come up to the academic standard of the class and when detention in the same class would make the student too old for the class.
 

SCHOOL HOUSES :

Students from class Three upwards belong to four Houses. The House system enables the child to become a responsible member of the society through participation in games, sports and other co-curricular activities.
 

1.       The House of JUSTICE (GREEN)

2.       The House of EQUALITY (GOLD)

3.       The House of FRATERNITY (BLUE)

4.       The House of LIBERTY (RED)
 

CO – CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES : 
 

·         To ensure broader based education for our students, Activity classes have been introduced. The purpose is to give an opportunity to bring out hidden qualities and attain excellence in them.

·          Participation in the co-curricular activities of the school is compulsory
 

PUBLIC EXAMINATIONS :
 

·        The School prepares its students for the I.C.S.E. and I.S.C. Examinations of The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. 

·        The School reserves the right not to present any child for the above examination if in its opinion after the preliminary examination, such a student is not likely to be successful. Parents and guardians undertake on the admission of their wards to abide by the decision of the Management.
